POSITION OVERVIEW
The Golf Cart Rental Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the golf cart rental business, including assisting the Golf Cart Rental Manager with sales, marketing, customer service, operations, and finance.
RATE OF PAY full-time, hourly position at $25 per hour
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (not limited to)
- Help maintain financial budgets, goals, and objectives for the golf cart rental business.
- Supervise the golf cart rental process from start to finish.
- Oversee an electric fleet management of 150 golf carts, will continue to grow over time.
- Assist with cleaning, maintenance, and minor repair of golf carts while maintaining clean and organized storage lot and a welcoming office space.
- Equipment and maintenance logs created and kept up to date along with SOPs created to standardize rental program to company’s standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with guests and owners to ensure repeat business.
- Ensure team is providing exceptional customer service to guests and owners.
- Effectively communicate safety protocols for renters.
- Be able to address concerns or issues that may arise during the rental contract.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions, contracts, and confidential customer information.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and efficient service delivery.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Experience: Background with working at a hotel/resort or related is preferred
Fleet or maintenance operations preferred
Customer service or sales experience
Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Required: Must have a valid driver’s license, motor vehicle background check will be completed
Must have experience with supervising and training a team, minimum of one year
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Fluent in English language, must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.
- Confident with administrative duties, handling reservations, and confirmations in a timely manner.
- Computer skills are a must, basic Microsoft Office functions such as Word and Excel programs.
- Confidence to handle confidential information and utilize for transactions for payment utilizing POS system.
- Attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks during the work shift.
- Must show initiative in job performance, including anticipating what needs to be done before it becomes a necessity.
- Works well in stressful, high-pressure situations – fast paced environment.
- Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.
- Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying the concerns or issues raised by coworkers and/or guests.
- Ability to work independently.
WORKING CONDITIONS - PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Position requires you to be able to stand, walk, bend and stoop for prolonged periods of time. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must be able work in different types of weather sometimes extreme, including high temperatures and humidity.
HOURS REQUIRED 40 hours a week; flexible schedule; days and times may vary based on need including weekends and/or holidays.
